The Festive Season is anticipated for so long, and passes so quickly. Already the Christmas Sale seems long ago. The afternoon went very well, with friends and local people dropping in throughout the afternoon for their Salty Gifts. Much cake was consumed in front of the open fire and the miserable weather outside was forgotten!
In my garden, the first snowdrop was spotted on New Year's Day. Despite our pond being thick with ice, the brave little sprout with three flower heads, smiled through the frost and the stone hard ground. Daytime brings sunny spells just right for a walk and I'm often catching the dramatic afternoon sunsets over the Black Mountains as I get home.
In the office, I am now concentrating on getting the Edible Salt out into the marketplace so that you can get it from your local shops. In the area local to the Salt Seller, South Herefordshire, you can get it from 'The Art of Living Shop' in St Owen St, Hereford; 'Hope's' of Longtown and 'Field Fayre' of Ross. For those of you in the rest of the UK, I am doing a Special Offer of 2kgs for £9, postage included.
I'd like to wish a Happy New Year and send many thanks to all those who have worked with me over the past year and to my loyal customers. More and more people are appreciating the benefits of this wonderful natural salt and I'm looking forward to greater recognition from the public and Food Professionals this year as the Whole Salt Revolution gains ground! Why not write and tell me what you like about my Whole Pink Himalayan Salt?
